Highlights after chemo, yes or no?

Options

I'm almost one year pfc. Have had highlights in my hair since I was 16, now 35. I have my natural color now which is very dark brown. Would it be okay to put highlights in?

Also, what do you think is more damaging for your hair. Highlights or extensions?

Do the highlights!!! I've had a lot of fun with my post-chemo hair.....including dying it purple (just once, and just because I wanted to). From experimenting, I found I liked a more red base with caramel highlights for my dark brown hair inside of the blonde highlights I had gone with previously. (I had a beautician do all the work, if you usually dye it yourself, I'd go to a professional for the first time you highlight anyway.) ENJOY your hair!!!

*I don't know anything about extensions so can't help you there. An experienced beautifcan would be the one to ask.
