NIH budget cuts affect on Cancer Research

I sincerely hope that the NIH budget doesn't get cut as proposed. Not specifically for cancer research, but for everything the NIH does. I have been there, both in-patient and out, and I think that anyone who been there and seen the quality of what goes on there would agree with me. I was there for a non-life-threatening illness (Essential Tremor research), but I encountered many people who were there as a last hope for treatment, and I spoke to many of them. The NIH is an amazing place with amazing people trying to heal all kinds of health issues, and they deserve a large budget.
