I've been happy to hear that many of you are actually doing relatively well on the tamoxifen with some side effects that are annoying but bearable. for those of you who do feel you've done relatively well with not too many complaints, can you tell me who the manufacturer and who is the distributor of the tamoxifen that you're taking.

you'll need to look at your bottle to correctly identify this most likely.

I was looking to find/take the former Teva brand and was told it was acquired by a company called mayne Pharma in 2016. I asked the pharmacist for that however My bottle says manufactured by activis and distributed by Mayne. is this the same Teva formulation does anybody know? If I have to take this drug I want it to be the version with the least amount of side effects from fillers....

Thanks ladies :-)

Fwiw, I had a pharmacist today tell me it's the same formulation as the old Teva. The reason I asked, though, is because I had been getting mylan and I do better on it than I did with Teva (I accidentally got a bottle of mayne with this rx fill) so I'm hoping I can get the mylan back! Although some do better on it, personally, teva makes me nauseous and I have worse PMS on it (it's no picnic on mylan either but not quite as bad). Best wishes in finding what works best for you quickly and with few or no side effects :).

I definitely needed a gluten free (no filler) tamoxifen- vomited several time on brand CVS carried- I have celiac diseaes. Took Teva a bit until closed- and now on Mayne Pharma - doing great.
