MAGS...yes, we do indeed mourn who we once were. I used to love to garden and cook, and I especially loved dancing, but with all the shiz going on in my back, I can't do anything anymore.
Seeing MO on Friday to discuss more rads. All I do is sit in the La-z-boy with the heat and massage unit up full blast, and that doesn't even help anymore.
Gotta get this pain under control.
Hope you all have a great week.

Jazzy

Mags, I understand what you're saying, and I'm so sorry.
-
Action shot from this weekend's basketball tournament. DS's team went 2-1

Happy Birthday, Jazzy. Celebrate all week.

!!!!! Happy Birthday Jazzy !!!!!

Loverly - Kirby will be home in 11 days. Whoo Hoo! Then my part begins. The mini labradoodle is so cute. I didn't know there was such a thing as a mini. Your niece is adorable too.
Yippie, Sassy is back !!!!
Wenchi - Sorry you're having such a challenging time with your rads. treatment.
Mags - You seriously need a break from the yuckies.
I volunteered today and will probably have to go in most days this week. Trying to get this project as close to finished before the Kirbs come home. I am so tired, I am having difficulty keeping my eyes open right now. So I will have to come back at a later time and check in.
Waving Hi to everyone else. Goodnight for now.
-
Morning all!!!
After not having coffee yesterday morning because of the scan, I savored my coffee this morning
-
reading all your posts for new insomniacs like me. Just confirmed lump on my LB today. Rubbery and nonnmovable. About less than 1 cm. I'm terrified and can't go on with my day and I have a sweet little daughter. It breaks my heart. Waiting for a week for all US and DM. And surely a biopsy and removal surgery
-
Happy birthday, Jazzy! Wishing you peace and joy!!
Ewagen, welcome to the thread. Waiting is so hard. Best wishes!
-
happy birthday jazzy

Patty, HOOTIE HO sweetie, HOOHOO to Feeling Feline
Thanks Sensi,
back
WT how exciting for your son, what fun to go to State. A life memory for sure. CONGRATS to him. The energy of state is so unique. YAY, sis boom ba etc. (old cheerleader hahah) and congratulations to the proud parents
Whoopie Two year anniversary
Mommie, sometimes a little ass chewing is a good thing. Like syrupy voice back "Not my first rodeo, sweetie". You actually can tell them what time you want at scheduling. Controlling people pull a power game, but these days companies are so competitive, they will try to accommodate. Mommie, I think this is the first time I've heard you angry---go girl. I'm the same way on the eating thing, wish I could take you to lunch right after. Hugs. Howsabout a sandwich in the purse?
-
Loverly, Hahahahah..........a........Telling the truth now. Not everyone gets to hear the truth. Donnie's exactly why I do this high leg raising exercise. Damn sexy ending up on a walker!
-
.
Jazzy, YAY another year.
Seems to me last year I found some Satchmo.....hmmmmm
-
Mags, I forget are you taking Tramadol? Could be the culprit for the spasms. Learned some stuff lately about Tramadol. Besides spasming of a very unusual nature, it can drop blood sugar. I think it should be taken off the market. ......OH sis is there, hope things get better so you have some play time. Dear cousin is such a sweetie.
Hi Lita, your new since I took a break. Hey(waving)
Loverly, what's with the lump on your head? The Doodle is a cutie. Your niece is smiling in her sleep aww.
Smarrty, Hello, sounds like a wonderful day in the city. Lunch too? Sorry, your friend has to deal with BC,chit.
-
Bathroom.....we found a tile for the floor. It's dark, looks like stained hickory. It's called Brazilian pecan. The vision is growing. Wish I had the money to go along with the vision. Except I think we are going to delete the really stripped looking ones and go with the solid pieces.
Comments? Not slippery. Room is big with a skylight.
-
Hi Ewagen, sorry all this chit(shit) is going on. Welcome here, and hugs. This is a very hard time, but we will wait with you. While you are waiting for all this stuff to get done, there are somethings that you should do. Sounds crazy, but it's true. Call PCP and get your immunizations uptodate. Include a Pneumovax, Prevnar and shingles shot. Call dentist and get any thing fixed that needs fixing and a teeth cleaning pronto.
-
omg !!!! Sas is back !!!!! Woo hoo. Yes !!!! Logging on and seeing you made my day !!!! Bigs hugs
-
Hubby had stuck a brownie in my purse yesterday with a little note as a surprise for me after the scan. Had a hot cup of coffee yesterday with a sandwich as soon as I got home
-
Mommey what a sweetheart your hubby is, it's the little things that count. My dh is off getting his hair cut and then washing and gassing my vehicle.
Sass nice to see you back, hope things are going well for you
-
Sassy, tramadol is one of those drugs that does nothing for me, so not the culprit. Love the tile. Hickory is what we're planning on when we get around to doing floors. Everything waits for scan results, right
Got a call from the clinic today, PET needed no precertification, so good to go for Tuesday. Bonus! We've met our out of pocket, so it's covered 100%! (That's also kinda sad when you think about it.)
Hootie hoo Patty! Are you home?
-
Yep. He could see I have been very worried about waiting for the results to come back and I started to have a little meltdown over the waiting and he gave me a hug and said that things will be okay no matter what the results show
-
Hi everyone, just checking in. I had round #26 rads this morning with just 2 more to go! It took a lot longer than usual so I asked what the deal was? RO said he's doing 3 boosts just to be on the safe side. I asked him if he remembered I had DBMX and not lumpectomy? We both laughed, it's become our "inside joke". I'm really, really sore tonight. RO said I've done a great job with my skin care regimen and it's not as bad as he thought it would be this week. He'll see me in 3 weeks for a skin check. What am I going to do with all my free time with not running to a clinic of some sort? Oh yeah, get back to life! I hope! Back to reading, taking names notes and catching up!
Love and hugs to All!
-
There is my PattyP. Big hugs back.
Mommy your guy is surely a sweetheart. Chocolate no less Hahaha a man that pays attention to the necessary's in life.
Hi Lookie, Haha on a walker and have needles put in my eye(wet macular). Gross, but effective.
Mags, glad tramadol is NOT in the picture. I used to recommend it simply b/c oxy's are like choking a chicken(never happens) anymore. But you've heard me at times say that I respect or disrespect a drug. Tramadol is not good. I see it's future as being pulled from the market. Sure hope so. It's moved up to the same class as oxy's and many are not prescribing anymore. While I believe that is good, it sure leaves a hole for someone needing some pain relief. ...Glad your PET is covered. Sad, but serious positive too. Mucuna mata(?) money will stop flying out of your pocket.
Tile's out, changed my mind. This is going to be a long grinding process. I can post some pics from the Kindle.
Teka, I never thought of the kindle for wedding pics. UGHKathyindc------------sorry I missed all your wedding stuff. How did it go?
Two glass finds yesterday
