Hmm, I heard somebody talking about sex and it woke me up.

Aww all the babies look so cute and so big.

Missed a hundred pages. Took a walkabout. Now can't walk. Ankle is unhappy so I'm sitting down. It's gonna take awhile to catch up

Wenchi sounds like you are burned pretty bad. This is a link I worked on that has specific instructions on silvadene use. Great drug, just needs careful use. Wear dressing until you are entirely healed. Because it's a body fold area it's prone to strange scarring and bacteria. The A&D ointment seems heavy. Never heard it used with Rads. The suggestions everyone else made are the more usual. May seem obvious or common sense--don't use deodorant . Soap, hmm, read what I wrote on the thread. I use to say Dial pump soap. Tepid water. Try to stretch the arm out several times a day. Scar tissue contracts. That would be a bad place for a contracture.

How many left? OOps forgot to leave the link

    https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/44/topics/754935?page=1

not my thread, but worked on it a lot. Hope something helps.

Thank you, his name is Jimmy John Jr. we call him JJ it's much shorter lol

Lover, I used to blame it on my eye sight but now I blame it on my brain for forgetting to proof read before submitting. I also hate it when the page turns and I've lost my post. I've gotten in the habit of copying my post as I go, that way I don't lose all of it. If the page turns (all by itself) I can paste my post back in.

Sensi, now you're ganging up on me LOL I used to love sex, my poor DH probably doesn't remember what sex is! My libido is long gone unfortunately. My PCP says he can fix it but I want to get thru my treatments and start the tamoxifen before adding any more drugs to my already weak system. Maybe I'll love sex again 😜

Lita, OUCH! Be careful and take good care of yourself. I know that's easier said than done

Sas, yay your back! Thank you for the link, I'll definitely read and follow all instructions. I wasn't thrilled about using the A&D Ointment as it is very heavy. I bought new sheets to replace the old ones once I'm done with all ointments. What a mess it's made of my sheets, even through my pjs. I have not have 4 more treatments to go then on to other forms of torture.

    Hugs to All

Hello, that was absent last night, too much sex talk.

Wenchi good. Sivadiene(sic)is cream based. Methinks A&D has petroleum in it. Too tough on the burned skin to get it off for the next treatment.

Susiequ, I still have that bum phone.

Teka thanks, Believe it or not I haven't got any pictures I can share. I'll work it out somehow.

The wedding went flawlessly....elegant.....my nuclear family was altogether for the first time since 2004...lot's of fun....no misbehaving.....wish it went on for ever. Lesson learned was I should have done something about a camera. OHwell.

Wildtulip, mags, Loverly,Sensi, Mommy, Jazzi Jwoo, Sabel, Spookie, Shep, Junie, who am I missing-----Hey:)

Hurt my ankle standing in one spot doing high leg raises. Now on a walker for awhile. Other mishap is wet macular degeneration in right eye. I've had 3 injections in the right eye with Lucentis. It's working. Very weird.

Redoing the bathroom. Of course Donnie and I haven't communicated well. I said the step to the tub was unsafe. Next night he tore it out. Didn't close the doors to dust was in the closet and house. That was about a week before the wedding. Everything was stacked in my bedroom. Oodles came to visit the Monday after the wedding.

Ordered the walk-in tub Tuesday. Just now, I walk in and he has the shower torn out. It was not suppose to come out till just before the walk-in installed. BUT he's such a worker and want's to keep me safe.

    Susan, sweet pics of Elena.

Feline, Any pics of DD dancing this weekend?

Lori, I'm so sorry for your rads burn. It sounds horrible. GS is adorbs! My FG is 4/11, just a couple more weeks.

Loverly, I don't recall if your headaches are migraines, but regardless, you mentioned trying to figure out triggers. A few years back I read the book, "Migraines for dummies," and it really helped me identify my triggers. For me I find it's often a combination of things, like stress let down, not sleeping, and not eating and drinking consistently.

Big weekend here..It's the Special Olympics State Basketball tournament. DS played one game today and has two games tomorrow. His team lost today, but the great thing is he had fun anyway.

Tomorrow is my BMX date..two years.

    Healing thoughts to all.

Welcome back Sassy! You have been missed. I'm pretty doped up tonight, my regular pain meds and dilaudid, because I just plain overdid. My sis is here for the weekend, I've been promising for weeks that we'd do something fun, but chemo has had me down so much we haven't done anything. So today we decided to do a jigsaw puzzle. The hunt for puzzles about did me in, but we finally found a couple in the garage and started working on one. Then cousin called us for dinner, she'd made a pot os spaghetti sauce, one of my favorites, and as we started eating, I could feel myself hit the wall. Dripping sweat head to toe, so I excused myself to come lie down and take my breakthrough meds. Got some heat on the back and later they brought me dinner. Now I need to refill my glass and get my jammies on but almost afraid to move. Is it the mets or the neulasta? Spots in my back that feel like they're on the verge of major spasm - only worse. Travels up and down, sometimes sporadic, sometimes constant. Heat eased it a bit.

Well there I go, griping again.

Hey sassy, call me when you have some time! (LOL

Mags...when was your last Scan? Are your bone mets stable or are they on the move?

I ask cuz I'm having lots of back pain again, and my right thigh is going numb. Could barely walk across the parking lot today, and grocery shopping yesterday was miserable. MO will probably set me up with RO for palliative radiation. I know you can only radiate so much, then you get tissue damage if you go back and do more. Could radiation be an option for your pain?

Oxy and Norco don't touch the deep bone pain or stop the spasms. Only thing that helps is med marijuana so I can sleep.

    Praying for both of us.

Not looking forward to my CT Scan tomorrow. Scan isn't until 12:30 and according to the tech that was there Friday when I pick up the prep crap got all smarmy with me in front of my hubby, basically told me that I can't have anything to eat at all after tonight but that I should take any of my medications that I do. I felt like telling her "Uh, hello. If I take my media on an empty stomach I am going to be very ill! It's not my first time having that kind of a scan, you stupid dipstick!" I know the 4 hour requirement about fasting before a test because I am reminded of that every time they call to set up the appointment. I am always up early during the week to get my hubby off to work. So unless I eat a piece of toast as soon as I get up, I will be very hungry and cranky until dinner time.

Oh my dear! I am so glad you spared us the novel for being gone that long. Still waiting to see the wedding pictures. You hurt your ankle from a high leg raise? Do you mean like this?

Oh Mags, you are not griping. Hoping it is just the neulasta.

Lita, hope your pain is better managed too.

Where is thatmagic wand to tap the pain away from all of you ladies?

    Patty!!!

Wildt, thank God the headaches are not migraines. I seldom get migraines. The last time I had one with aura was about two years ago. I was sitting in church right behind a lady who had on a blouse with swirly pattern. Not sure why I allowed myself to continue staring at her top. After service was over I couldn't focus or see, then the migraine came. Boy, that was miserable. No headache the last three days. The bump on the left top side of my scalp is still there and occasionally it feels warm and tingly. I do notice my vision on the left is worse than before. Could be worse so I am grateful. How was DS' game? Do you get nervous for him? Good to hear that Ex is a bit more understanding😃. FG is around the corner for you. Hopefully, no more sx after this.

Talk about FG, how are you doing Forward? Owning your own business is tough. My parents used to own a take-out restaurant when we lived in Louisiana. They worked from 9:00 am to 10:00 or 11:00 pm everyday. We kids took turns helping them during our summer breaks.

Peppy, so good to hear Gus Gus is doing better😃. He is such a sweet cat. Can't imagine going through your folks' belongings. I told DH we should not accumulate too many things as it will be tough for our girls when leave this earth. He doesn't like to part with things. For me, I have no problem giving stuffs away, especially his things. Hah!

Sensi, great mind think alike? Ha!

    Ms. S, are you back?

We are hiking Tomales Point this Saturday. You ladies want to join me? Good exercise.

One of my sisters got a new dog. A mini golden doodle (35lbs)....what I wanted before we got Mitzy. Cutest little thing. She is a failed narcotic/medical dog.

They are tired of shed hair. Her russel terrier (Nala) is 11 years old. Shelby is 5-6 months, I think. You notice how Nala sleeps? 😂

Got to balance this with baby pic of my niece. Got to see her this weekend.

JunieB, less than two weeks before Kirby is home, right?

Shepk, hope the tapering is not to rough for you. Don't go and do your own thing.

Mommy, in your pocket for the CT scan. May it be clean.

Kath, your appointment is coming up soon, yeah?

    Hey Susan.

My next scan is next Tuesday, the 4th. Still don't know what they will do; PA thinks it's too soon for insurance to cover another PET. If so they will do a CT of chest and abdomen and a bone scan for the rest.

I started out with arthritis in both shoulders and knees and degenerative disc disease in the lumbar/sacral area as well as compressed discs in the cervical spine, so who knows what the pain is from. I have a pretty high pain tolerance and tend to push through until I hit a wall. My body's "tell" is when my head starts to perspire, and I often ignore it until I just hit a wall.

Sitting at the breakfast room table this morning having coffee with my sis and cousin, looking out the window at the rose I planted last year and how it's got fresh growth on it and talking about how I used to garden, one of the activities I miss most, along with cooking. My sister recalled my planting a garden for her, and how I used to make a batch of bread every week and the family would gather and devour it,fresh and hot and slathered with butter...

    I miss me

yes lover, I'm back in town. I have to spend the nights at my sister this week until they get back on the first, but home during the day.

Yesterday, 6 of us went to SF to 2 museums. One had a Monet exhibition and the other an embroidery display. Here, we got to stop at one of several places in the city where the steps have been redone with a design. This is the 6 of us, I'm on the far left.

The lady next to me has also dealt with BC. We might be shopping for bras and prosthesis together.
