Bumping this old thread especially for those who are doing Taxol and Taxotere!

I just started chemo and I was recommended GNC Glutamine 2500 power chews along with vit b-6 by my nurse. I take 50 mgs b-6 three times a day during the duration of chemo. The glutamine is 1/2 chewy twice a day for 3 days after a treatment.

I am horrified with this story 😳 Apparently it's been known for a while. Long story short t is saying that all cells gobble up sugar however cancer cells gobble up glutamine and they are developing something to block it

Thanks for sharing this. I had been taking l-glutamine for my stomach and had run across a similar article so I stopped. This confirms I did the right thing!
