Fatigue worse since BC?

Options

I recently have had a major cold/flu. I used to bounce back but I'm finding that I don't respond like I did before BC. I'm having a hard time getting that across to my family (not DH). It's almost 2 yrs since I ended active treatment not including tamoxifen....is this normal? I missed a baby shower this weekend because I will so stuffed up...but mainly just exhausted...and the family is having a fit.

I'm three years out and I don't have the energy I used too. At times I get so tired I could fall asleep anywhere. My mo said it is from the arimidex. Hope your family starts to understand.

Hugs to you. I remember unflailing fatigue about two years out when tamoxifen ended. You have been thru alot. You need support, not chastisement.

It does get better over time.

And you might want to talk to your primary care provider too. There are lots of things that can cause fatigue besides BC treatments. (It's really easy to see everything through the "BC-lens"...but it would be sad if something simple--like a vitamin D deficiency, for example--was the cause, but was never addressed.)

Hope you're feeling much more energetic very, very soon!

Hi, I found that CoQ10 helped immensely with fatigue. I still take CoQ10 by Thorne Research. It helps the Mitochondria of our cells with energy production.
