ALH , started on Femera

I have been to more doctors in the last month! they removed a cyst during a needle biopsy but also found ALH cells. So, MRI, consult with a medical oncologist, and going next week for genetic counseling. anyone take Femera for prevention of breast cancer? Worried about side effects. Well, worried in general.

I was offered Aromasin. I haven't heard of them using letrazole as a prophylactic drug for ALH

The oncologist said letrazole is offered only to women past menopause. Also, I have a strong family history of cancer.

Don't misunderstand, I wasn't doubting you. Using AIs for prophylaxis as opposed to tamoxifen or Evista in menopausal women is a fairly recent thing. Aromasin is used in menopausal women too
