I had 10 rounds of chemo: 4 AC, 6 THP which shrunk my 5+ cm tumor to approx 1

Surgery extracted 1cm tumor and 4 positive lymph nodes.Should i be worried?

Radiation looks like next obvious step. Excited that it would be the end.

Nervous about: would it be the end???

Know it has been awhile that you have had the thread up.

What did your pathology report read?  This will drive your further treatment, whether you end chemo, or continue.  It will determine what kind of cancer you actually have if not already determined.  Your oncologist will determine if you need hormone blockers, or if you cancer has not fueled by hormones.

Radiation treatment is to start after your surgery to sterilize the cancer, to the areas of your breasts that were effected.  chemo, surgery, and radiation is always a long enduring process, but getting all the tumors, and lymph nodes removed is one step closer to the next treatment.

Your doctors will decide what is next.  Good luck to you!
