CourtneyGanus, welcome to our community. Sorry to hear about your family member. Have you also been affected by breast cancer?

Hi Jennifer I was reading your post with interest I'm currently going through TC and have two cycles left. Then rads followed by hormone therapy.

Like you I've noticed crapeing or fine wrinkles round my lower jaw like a smoker. I had perfectly smooth skin before and prided myself on looking after my skin with quality products. Non smoker careful of sun exposure.

Again like you I cannot find any links that this is due to the chemo but the timing is uncanny and very upsetting. It's tuff enough to go the SEs

like hair loss and life changing emotion and physical changes most you can overcome and hopefully I'll get my self back to normal life soon.

But if I end up with facial wrinkles worse than my elderly mother in law that would be too much to bear.

Your treatment was some ago now have you gone on.

I hope you've made a good recovery and now enjoying your life.

Be interested in hearing from you on any of the above matters.

All the best and best wishes Vx

Same problem here, lots of wrinkles around my mouth specially. One of my dear friends recommend Shiseido bio-performance, liftdynamic cream. It's expensive, but it gave me 20 years back.

Since my last treatment of chemotherapy October 2017 my hair has only grown back about an inch and very thin with male pattern baldness with very few if any hair. Last August I was beautiful!

My face was firm, smooth like silk absolutely no wrinkles or sagging skin on my face and neck. Not anymore, no matter what I have tried to do to reverse the damage.I now have turkey neck. I look and feel like I've aged 20 years in less than a year. Yes, thankfully my breast cancer stage 2 is gone :) along with my right breast:( and I lost 25 lbs. But looking this old has made me very depressed. I am having a difficult time adjusting to life as it was before the diagnosis of breast cancer. Is anyone else going through this same phase?

Yes, I have read that certain drugs can cause skin dryness. I am exexperiencing this as I approach the third of eight rounds of chemo. When I underwent chemotherapy for a first bc diagnosis four years ago, I found the opposite: My skin was very moist and remained so throughout chemo.
