Just a quick question, hopefully someone may know the answer! I was wondering if a class of chemo (alkylating,antimetabolites etc) did not work can another of the same class be tried or would all chemo's within that class not be effective to a specific cancer.cross posting

    I have only my data to report. I did 13 months of Xeloda, then progressed. After a year and a half of another treatment, I went back to CMF, which is the older infusion form of Xeloda, and got another 5 months out of it.

    Even though I did a year of weekly Taxol, my Onc has mentioned that other taxanes are still in the arsenal.
