HRT after chemo and radiation

I'm about to start letrozole, but the sudden drop in hormones after chemo gave me severe and debilitating side effects. I'm temporarily using a low dose estriol suppository, but I have a lot of concerns about stopping the estriol and starting the anti-hormone therapy.

sealight...Not sure if you are hormone receptive. Please take a moment to fill out your stats so we can answer you appropriately. I was on HRT at the time I was diagnosed. My BS advised me to wean off of it. However I have decided not to do anti hormone treatment for a variety of reasons. I'm not saying thats what you should do but it is more difficult to transition when you are taking HRT. Good luck and keep us posted.

Thank you for your reply. I am seeing an oncology naturopath who has been very helpful. i didn't realize that chemo could have such a strong effect on some women. Haven't finished radiation yet, but I will probably start letrozole after it is completed.
