Lita - Thanks for the info on the T-shirts.

Smaarty - You sure get a lot done very quickly. You are brave doing curved blocks like that. Because of the bias edge of the fabric I'd end up with puckers or it not fitting just right. Several years ago I tried a quilt pattern that had many many half square triangles and I could not get them to line up properly, despite measuring/cutting very carefully. Got so frustrated that the quilt block are still sitting in my closet. Such a waste of of good fabric.

Poppy - I am having the worst time sleeping, I keep seeing Kirby looking back at me in confusion as his trainer carried him to her vehicle. I know I'm probably being overly sensitive, but I worry that the bond Kirby & I were building will somehow be damaged even though I know the training is in his best interest. I called today to set up a visit when she comes into town again. I feel so lost with him gone.

Shep - I hope you are sleeping peacefully right now.

Junie, try not to worry about that bond. We have had rescue dogs, (one older one), and the bonds re-form very quickly with dogs.

They are just glad to have the human warmth and company. Kirby won't forget you, and you are so sweet to think about him and worry as much as you do.

We worry about our Sofia.....anyone with treats and a nice snoozy pad could easily win her heart away from us, ha ha.

Spookie! I tried You Tube... Can you post a link? And I can't see your DD very well.... She is 2nd from the left? I LOVE the bag-pipes! Do you have a recording of her?

Your Wisconsin looks very happy Mom! I'm glad they all get along.... I've had SOME that were little tail-nippers.... Do you feed them frozen brine shrimp? I tried to keep them "full" so they wouldn't be aggressive.... Hah!

Poppy, Congrats on the clear pathology!

Jazzy, happy for you that you had a yoga retreat. The pic of Elton John was cool!

Mags, Sorry about the yucky chemo.

Smaarty, Wow on those sewing projects. Such talent you have!

Junie, So sad that you have to be apart from Kirby for a while. When will you get to visit with him?

Wren, we have little free libraries here too. :)

Loverly, happy you are planning a trip.

Shep, May I suggest that next 2/14 you hide in bed all day. ;) That pre-surgery nesting..Oh how I wish you were having kitties instead. How is your vision? My thoughts are with you.

I got some good news today..my DS does not need to have his tonsils taken out. We saw a different ENT as follow up to sleep study, which was perfectly normal, and the ENT said unless he begins to have sleep issues or infections, there is no reason to take them out. DS does, however, need to have wisdom teeth removed, but planning to wait till summer.

We have had a stretch of days in 50's-60's since last Friday, but it is predicted that we will get a foot or so of snow this Friday.

Hello to everyone I missed. Love and hugs. Good night..morning Feline.

Keeping busy at night. Making plastic canvas bookmarks to donate to my local cancer center. I make them out of my scrap plastic canvas and odds and ends of yarn that I have laying around from other projects

I missed all the fish chats? We had a fish once that get so excited to see us in the morning. Acquired this fish from our neighbors who had to move because they had to short-sale their home. He was the cutest little guy. Very sociable. I had to find another home for him not very long after we got him because he was so lonely by himself. Plus, I was afraid I would kill him.

Kathy, dealing with car accident/theft and the insurance company is so stressful. I am sorry you have an invisible target on your car. Bummer! And DH still gives you a hard time when you are on here? Sigh. Mine is more understanding now after I explained to him how important it is more me to be connected with you ladies on here. I try to be sensitive to him when he needs my attention. Such a BIG baby.

Lita, oh man. I was hoping you got better news. It is good to see you approach the progression with a positive attitude.

Embracing the thorns in our flesh...

Mags, hope you managing ok with this round of chemo. I have been wanting to tell you about the Celebrate Recovery program for DH. I think they have it in Oklahoma also. Here is a link: http://www.celebraterecovery.com/

Jazzy, Have you seen this one? When I saw this video, I said to myself Jazzy needs to see this. Hope I copied the right one.

WildT, I know you will enjoy this one also.

Ms. Spookie, Oh my goodness! Wow! Love the Piano Guys! What a privilege for DD to play with the guys.

Ms. Wren and Feline, thank you for the suggestion. Anne Frank house is definitely on our list. My DD met a young lady from Sweden, who lived in Hague a western coast city in the Netherlands for a semester, agrees that we should see the AF house, but does not recommend waiting in line to see the inside....very long line to get in. Plus, they removed the original furniture.

JunieB, one week down and three more to go until u see Kirby again?

Sensi, girl you must be really tired. You are a whole day behind. Ha!

Ms. Chevy, are you working on your garden? We visited Huntington Library when we were down in Southern Cal. Beautiful place. I can see myself in there the whole day

My fish know when it's feeding time. All but my Pleco and the Cory congregate at the top of the tank when I open the lid to drop in their food

Just heard from Shepk. She is probably zonked out by now. Surgery is scheduled at 2:00 pm Eastern Time. She said possibly 3 hour-surgery. Sent her the pic of the kitty in the pocket. Her response:

"Peppys kitty 💘 Send my thanks and love to our ladies"

I'm glad Shep got to see the kitty pic, thanks Loverly. Its not Gus but looks just like our orange (grouchy) cat when she was little. Hoping the day was good Shep.

Lookingforward - Yes come to California. The sun has come back and the rain has gone, probably to Oregon.
