Heat flashes/sensations only in implant area...

I've had my implants for 5 months now. At some point I noticed I was getting a hot flash across the top of my left implant. So bizarre. It comes, I feel the heat across this small area at the top of my left implant, and then as quickly as I notice it, it dissipates. I mentioned it before my last fat grafting surgery. Neither the medical team nor I was very concerned. It's really an oddity of all the sensations I've experienced due to surgery and reconstruction. It did finally just stop happening until the last week or so. Once again I'm getting these flashes of heat in the same exact area in the same exact way. I have no concerns about infection or anything. They literally only last a second or two but it is a definite rush of heat (or the feeling of heat) in that small area.

I guess I'm hoping that someone else might be able to say they either know of this or have experienced it, too. Can my damaged nerves be playing this trick on me?

I'm ok with letting it go - it's tolerable, more odd. It disappeared once before; I'm assuming it may again.

Or at least I hope so. I like my reconstruction now and just want to enjoy this time. Thanks!

I had my exchange in April 2016. My implants do this every now and then...I will just suddenly notice they feel super HOT! (Not in a good way!). It usually lasts about 30 minutes or so, and probably happens every month or so. I have just chalked it up to muscle spasm from my overstretched pectoralis muscle. You know, muscle spasms on the back can cause itching (spasm of the paraspinals cause itching called notalgia parestetica) so maybe our muscle spasm plus numbness translates to a warmth sensation? Just a theory! Anyway, you aren't the only one.

Thanks! 30 Minutes - do they actually feel hot to the touch or just have that sensation? Mine goes so quickly I can't say that my skin actually feels warm to the touch (not sure I have real feeling in that area anyway).
