Scared

I have been having vague aches and pains in my right upper abdomen, right side and right back under ribs. I have also had extreme fatigue and nausea. I see my MO next week and I'm hoping she will do some scans. She doesn't do any normally. I'm nervous

Hi there. Tell your Onco you want scans to rule out anything ominous and be sure to fully advise on all the symptoms and how long you've had them.  Hoping you are ok. I'm sure others with similar experience will be by soon to share their insight.

thanks Bevin. My Mo is aware I've been feeling bad. I am on a trial with Palbociclib and she advised me to take a 2 week break and see if my symptoms were coming from that but they have actually worsened. My white count dropped pretty low as soon as I started the palbo. I'm anxious to see if it improves.

Hoping you get answers and that they are benign. I was having severe upper right sided abdominal pain for a while, and discovered it to be lactose intolerance which was new to me. Hoping yours is something benign like that

Melgirl, I've been taking palbo for a year now. Can tell you that I get all sorts of aches and pains. They come and go, but tend to be worse during the week off.

Fatigue is definitely the palbo. Not sure about the nausea -- you'd need to ask other ladies who take it.

If the aches and pains aren't transient you should definitely mention it to your oncologist.
