Many - She can take them together or separately, but the Ibrance must be taken with a meal. Once you decide on the times, for consistency, you will want to stick with about the same time each day although many of us have started taking at one time and then later changed that time based on convenience or when we felt we would be having a meal most consistently.

I have taken femara in the morning and Ibrance at lunch. We all go with what our own preferences are -- so whatever time seems to work best with your schedule is fine. The main thing is Ibrance must be taken with a meal for optimal absorption of the drug.

Wishing you well with this treatment. Many have had great success with it.

I have been on Ibrance and Femara since October of 2015 and I take mine together at lunch time. I do fine with it. When I had my pet scan in July my 2 inch tumor was almost completely gone. I was supposed to take another pet yesterday but approval didn't come from my insurance company yet so I had to cancel it.

I take my Femara with breakfast because I always have. When we added Ibrance I took it at dinner. My breakfast isn't enough to be called "at least 400 calories, some fat" which is what the label says.

You can take them separately. Or together.
