Hi Everyone,

I've been trying like hell to get our voice heard. I think it's so important to keep the protections for people with pre-existing conditions that the ACA mandated. With the ACA repeal looming overhead, I am very worried.

I've tried creating petitions. The "We the People" petitions on whitehouse.gov no longer work. A change by the new administration I suppose... here's the scoop:

After having hundreds of people try to sign my whitehouse.gov petition... it's becoming evident that it's not working. I work in IT myself- I recreated and re-tested the petition numerous times, and while you get the "confirmation email", your signature is not counted on the petition. It still only says "1 signature." After doing some research, I've found that this has become a common occurrence as of late on many other whitehouse.gov petitions. The only petitions that work are the ones that were created before Trump officially took office. My only conclusion at this point is that the new administration is silently disabling it. I wish this was a conspiracy theory, but it's not. If you want to see what I mean, here it is:

Sooooo. My brother and I recreated the same petition on change.org. And it works. If you'd like to sign it, we'd be forever grateful:

I am recovering from surgery awaiting the next steps in my treatment. But I'm going to keep fighting for all of us.

Love ya sisters!
