Skin Reddening / Rash over mastectomy site of breast with cancer

Five weeks post-surgery (double mastectomy), I have a rash of red, brown, yellow skin growing over my breast that had the tumor. It's growing about 8-10% each day. I had a punch biopsy which they said showed no cancer or bacteria.

Going to get a second opinion.

Does anyone have something that looks like this? The purple marks are mine to gauge growth.

    yellow , I would think is bruising. Glad u are getting second opinion. Let us know how u make out. My hubby had something similar on his chest after getting his wisdom teeth out. They said it was a reaction to the anestetic.

    have little red bumps popping up today, around the site. lumpectomy, SNB was last Thursday. thinking it's odd to be reacting to anesthesia or radioactive dye or surgical tape 4-5 days letter, guess it happens. following up w/ doc. hope you feel better soon, pwrsander.

    I have a very similar looking and sized rash. What did your second opinion reveal ? Mine has a large thickening under my mastectomy scar. Not painful. Skin texture normal. It came up a couple of weeks ago. Not hot. Started pale, a bit smaller than it is now. Then it became very pink. Then pinkey- brown. Has spread. I have had a course of pennicillin (no change), antihistamine and am using cortisone cream 1%. Some fading/yellowing in parts but still spreading in others. Am waiting on results of punch biopsy and ultrasound.

    1 week post operative nasty red rash at mastectomy site with raised bumps. Doctors are baffled not sure, had a biopsy of skin 2 days ago just waiting on results. Currently on cephalexin. Had bilateral mastectomy but oddly rash only on thebreast that had cancer.

    Exact same happening to me same type cancer. Had skin biopsy just waiting for results. Currently taxing cephalexin. Oddly it appears only on the breast that had the cancer and I had a bilateral mastectomy
