Reading through old posts I see posts deleted by Melissa and Tami. O.K. I understand that. Then I see other posts deleted by the ppl who posted them.I didn't realise you could delete your own posts. Can someone please explain why posts are deleted...apart from being offensive of course and how anyone else but the moderators can delete them?

Thanks

Jezza

I just deleted a post yesterday. Realized that it should have been in another forum so I copy and pasted it over there and deleted the original.

I've deleted my own posts simply because I changed my mind. For whatever reason.

    Hi Jezza,
I've started to post many times and decided against it. I always try to remember how vulnerable we are at diagnosis of BC and I would hate to post something that may be misinterpreted.

Jezza, I'd hate to say it, but I SHOULD HAVE delted some of my own posts because there was so much misinterpretation afterwards. As far as I can tell, only the modeartors or the poster themselves can delete and only the poster can edit.

    Jezza,

I was asked by a member to delete a post in a thread she started because she thought it would frighten those new to breast cancer. I didn't think the post was frightening at all, but I deleted it as to not offend.
