My darn cording is back. Does compression help at all? I know my massaging it helps but I can't remember about compression. I see the PT tomorrow but wondered if anyone here knows.

Thanks.

thanks Nanc. I had my cording the first time before my sleeves were ordered/received I think. It's a bugger it's back. I'll find out at PT tomorrow afternoon. I decided not to wear them since I can't remember what the heck they told me last time.

tsoebbin, take them with you tomorrow so the therapist can check the fit as well--if you haven't been using them the fit may have changed (from weight gain or loss, or from changes in your LE control). Let us know what you discover.

    Be well!

I had cording before I had LE. What helped with the cording was slow stretching and massage, but by my LANA-certified PT.

thanks Binney and Sandy. My PT trained my husband to help with the stretching and massages of the cording, thank goodness. I've been wearing my sleeves when working and exercisng, but when the cording got worse over the weekend I questioned wearing them.

I'll be sure to ask her today.

Take care, hope my LE sisters have a great day! 🔆
