stage 4 denovo. Cancer was found in my hip first. I was on a transatlantic cruise and was taken off in France but Cancer was found by my orthopedic in TN. I am now walking with a cane after many months . I had surgery,then radiation and had started hormone therapy. I also get a shot for a bone strengther I do not feel sick at all.I am now on radiation on my breast after a mastectomy. I will not have reconstruction.

So sorry for the reason that led you here but I'm pleased you've find this community - I'm sure you will find it of great assistance.
We are in a similar situation so I understand how distressing and difficult this is.
It would be helpful if you filled in your background (ie cancer type ((ER/PR/HER). You may alsowant to jump on the threads that are most relevant to your diagnosis (ie. bone thread, type of treatment, family situation etc).
Bestbird also provides a free copy of her very extensive Guide to MBC which is an invaluable resource. Just search her name and you can find how to request one (a simple email).

I was diagnosed Stage IV De Novo July 2015 at the age of 43. Stage IV BC with bone mets (skull, pelvis, spine, ribs, and both scapula's).

I was diagnosed with mestastatic breast cancer on my two hips and in my shoulders. No new cancer for 2 years. Have been on monthly injections of faslodex and xgeva. Have been feeling nauseous and achy but happy there are no new growths. Just had a pet scan
