Tuesday was 70 degrees. Yesterday started out 70 but ended in the 30s with rain. Today the kids are home from school because temps dropped to the 20s (where they are now) and everything froze.

I love going from shorts to sweaters and coats in a day! Was getting a little tired of the warm weather - had all of the summer clothes put away...

Crazy weather here in Illinois too. Yesterday 58 degrees and today it's 27 degrees. We're under a winter weather watch, could get up to 1 foot of snow.

Would love a 'go' at your weather! I am sure sick of ours. Here in UK its cold, with sideways showers and very windy. Best place is indoors near the fire.
Crazy as it seems I have roses, clematis, jasmin, geraniums and even fuschias out in my garden...what is happening to the weather . I ventured out yesterday and as it got dark the gritting machines were out on the roads (yet we didn't have frost.) Thats normal for UK, the powers that be always get the forecasts wrong, and either the gritters are out, and theres no frost, or its icy, and no gritters to be seen!!
Right , off for a nice warm chicken casserole now.....followed by...ice cream!! Isabella.

I just pulled up weather.com and it said -6 with windchill -21. I don't believe that, turned on the tv and it says 12. It's sunny out and that always fools me into thinking it's warm!

    Bundle up!!

BRRRRR!! Just went outside for a minute and it is COLD!!! I guess I will wait for the weekend to put up the Christmas lights. Last year on Dec. 8th or 9th it was snowing in NJ. I remember because it was my birthday and I was in the Carribbean staying nice and warm. Sort of wish I was there right now. But, I am having a nice day inside with my girls-they do not have school today.

Can't really complain here in S. California. It is very dry but during the day it gets up to 80. Last week it was around 95 during the day and about 36 at night for several days. Not a cloud in the sky for days and days. I think it has rained once in about 6 months. I actually miss the rain.

Cold here in the Chicago area too. Yesterday 18 degrees and so far today 16 degrees. We're expecting a real heat wave tomorrow, it's gonna get a few degrees above freezing and that will start turning the 13" of snow on the ground to slush.

We got to slush then it froze again. Now have dirty ice!! We're high 20s now and supposed to get in the high 40s tomorrow! Great day for shopping (which we will be doing.)

PS - you don't know how badly I want to wash my truck. In a past life it was black but is just filth now. Waiting for a little more to melt and dry up. The shopping will be out of town so plenty of truckers will splash me as well, will have to wait. Maybe Sunday...

Well, down here in Memphis, I woke up to 16 degrees this morning....right now it's 28 degrees. I think our high today was in the mid to high 30's....Way too cold for this Southern girl!

My cousin in Middlesex county, NJ woke up to a pretty sprinkling of snow blown into the corners of her porch and yard. I wouldn't mind that since it was so cold anyway!

60's here today, too. Tomorrow supposed to be 70....one thing about Memphis - if you don't like the weather, all you have to do is wait a few days....it's always changing.

It feels like spring here in the Chicago area too and it is nice to go holiday shopping not all bundled up.....but this nice weather scares me. After our last run of nice above average temps in late November, we got 13" of snow dumped on us on December 1st.

It's been decent in the Western New York region for the past few days. In the mid to high 50's. Nice day to wash the car.

OK, as we are doing weather forecasts, here is the local weather in York UK !!
We are having terrible fog, I was out Christmas shopping today, and took 50 mins to get home, normally I do the trip in 20 mins. Worst thing was I was first car in my 'convoy'. I just hate this, I like to get behind someone else and use their eyes to show me the lines on the road!!!
On a brighter note the trees look absolutely amazing, covered in a hoare frost, just like icing sugar has been sprinkled on them. Oh, for a lovely bright Spring day. Isabella.
