I'm on my third bottle of Tomaxifin. Starting to see a bit of hair loss.

Trying to decide Biotin, Nioxin, or both?

Uuggggh. Trying to stay positive but struggling today.

Hair, Skin and Nails is a vitamin supplement available at Walmart. My MO suggested it. Also, for the nails, Sally Harden, Hard as Nails works very well. They have some pale opaque pink and nude shades that are so pretty.

My MO & my dermatologist both recommended Biotin. I took 5000 mcl from the time i started chemo for 3 years. Results were good. Interesting thing I learned - a dermatologist is in charge of skin, hair & nails - and not just skin. I was not on hormonal therapy but wanted to share that this worked for me.

Hi Tsoebbin! I am not on tamoxifen but continue to use OGX Niacin + Caffeine Fight Fallout shampoo and conditioner since finishing chemo. Not sure if that's what helped my hair come back thicker than before but it did come back thicker.

    Good luck!

Biotin has worked well for me.

I would be careful of the beauty products we use; parabens and propylparabens, both, seem to increase estrogen circulation or drive estrogen.
