Take Heart And Your Tamoxifen

I was diadnosed with IDC this summer. I was nervous as a cat and pretty shaken but got through my surgeries and radiation with a decent amount of bravado. I hit the wall of fear when it came time to take my Tamoxifen.I had read so much about it, almost all negative,that when the time came to start taking it I balked. I was beside myself with anxiety, feeling trapped and panicked. It took days and a lot of emotional support to build up my courage to take that first pill.

Well I have completed my first month and it's been all good. I take it at night because it does make me a little tired but other than that, it's fine. Seriously. I wanted to share this because there are few positive threads about Tamoxifen and I could have used some encouraging words a month ago. Hang in there!
