Anemic before Starting Chemo-Anyone else have this issue

Hi,
Getting ready to start my first chemo treatment this week (AC now, T after) and my blood work popped in my chart and is showing all kinds of issues w anemia and iron deficiency. Just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this and if it delayed treatment, etc. I know a side effect of treatment can be lower RBC's, so nervous that this would drop even lower.

I had anemia before surgery and chemo (with no noticeable effects). I received 5 iron infusions. I was able to time it so as not to delay surgery. Best of luck!
