3 days after Im having chest pain and a strange sensation just like I cant breath anymore or just like someone is sitting on them. My Blood tests and xray chest were ok before surgery. My Heart exam Also and my doctor saysto me yesterday that my lungs were in perfect shape.
Im very anxious and this pain is getting me mad.
Anyone experienced that kind of sensations ? Thank you for tour help.

When someone says chest pain, shortness of breath, and a feeling of weight on the chest, I worry about heart attack. Please do not hesitate go to the emergency room if you have such concerns. Nobody online can make this judgement for you.

I agree with ShetlandPony that those are potentially serious symptoms. Things like cardiac issues or embolism (blood clot) --a post-surgical risk -- should be eliminated by a medical professional. The fact that pre-surgical tests were good or that yesterday you were fine does not change this advice. Please have someone take you to the emergency room now.

Definitely get it checked out by a doctor right away. It may be a normal post-surgery reaction, or a panic attack type thing, but you need to rule out post surgical complications first. Let us know!

thank you for your café and your advices. Doctor came at home and made all the tests. Nothing serious but he sent me to the hospital. At the er, doctors made again the tests and the diagnosis was panic crisis. They gave me pill and kept me 3 hours in a room to check nothing would happen.
Im back home and its true that when I started being anxious I feel like that.
i had six months chemo- Fec 4 and taxotere 4- and right away the surgery. Im exhausted.
There is another symptom that drives me mad. Its my sinus.
My sinus are very dry and during the day right sinus breaths ok during the left one not. And suddenly the left one breaths and the right one not. I cant stand that anymore.
Do anyone experienced that ? Thank yo

Hi Cocoredrose:
Glad to hear you got checked out and are okay!!
Do you have a humidifier? That would help with the dry heat of the winter season in case that is making things worse.

Coco, thank you for coming back to tell us you are ok. If panic attacks continue to be a problem, ask about seeing a psychotherapist for cognitive behavioral therapy, with or without medication.

An anti-anxiety medication may be in order, or a prescription sleeping pill if you can't sleep (that is what I got & it really saved me, it is hard to think clearly if you are getting zero rest), AND I will add that exercise is a wonderful way to help you deal with things, it helps you both physically and mentally. A long, brisk walk can do wonders.

The air is pretty dry in the winter and that could be aggravating your sinuses. Try some saline spray. You can get it at the pharmacy. Don't get Afrin or anything with medication in it--they will open your sinuses, but cause rebound symptoms so that you keep needing to use it.
