Merry Christmas back atcha!! All the kids were here. Everyone liked everything. DH did all the cooking and was it delicious. Unfortunately I threw up everything I ate... for several hours despite zofran and reglan. I need to stick to milk, yogurt and boost. Very tender pork, gravy potaotes and bread not allowed. Christmas bread with raisins and nuts is really out, bummer. Did have a nice talk with my brother and the kids all got along. Good day otherwise!! Great Day..

Monty Python.. always look at the bright side of life!!! La La la laalala...Merry Christmas!

Rose....so sorry you couldn't keep Xmas dinner down :o(. Just pretend you were at one of those ancient Roman banquets where they had "vomitoriums" for the guests to go throw up in between sessions of gluttony . ((At least you got to taste your DH's excellent cooking....I hate it when I'm so nauseous that I don't even want to 'sample' anything.))

Lita as warped as it sounds... you are absolutely right! I sat with my family ate a small amount of everything and it didn't work out. I just can't digest anything with roughage and substance. Too much swelling in the intestines for it to go down. Plus I throw up so often it's easier then when you only do it a couple of times every few years. Once I get sick I feel better and then it's done. It appears to just be a mechanical obstruction. If I was a candidate a stent to open the obstructed areas would be a possible option. None of my chemos last long enough to think I will live long enough to invest in that. With that being said I have wildly out lived all my predicted deaths and demise... kind of ironic eh? It's like I am in a stalemate with cancer.. check..move..check..move..

More time with my family is worth it. Lovingkindness and Happy Holidays to all.

Loverly your annual trip to Hawaii is gorgeous! Love the flowers and plants. Lucky you and the girls!

What a wonderful Christmas, Rosevalley! Time with your family and feeling pretty good. I'm sorry that even the small tastes don't stay down, but I'm glad that you feel better when it's done.

Like our dear Stephanie, you keep outliving predicted demises. It seems like a stalemate with cancer, but as long as you keep moving, you are winning.

Here's to many more great days with your family. Loving kindness to you. ❤️️

I got my hearing aides all clean up, tuned up and volume increased! I love my Costco hearing aides. The hearing tests are free and they increased the setting and things are so much nicer. Now my favorite word isn't "what???" Pretty happy about this. Thank you for your words of encouragement. They keep me going I try pretty hard to be positive and sometimes it's hard.

Hope you are all listening to music and enjoying your friends and family. Be well!! Be Happy!

I had chemo yesterday a day after my scheduled time usually it's wed/thursday but because of the holidays we got bumped back. I was just sick as a dog. I lost 6 pounds over the week. Threw up early in the morning, explosively threw up at the chemo suite and and choked it came so fast and miserably. I got 16mg zofran and steroids.. it didn't help. I puked in the car all over myself right over the cup. After chemo we went to wait at DD2, waiting for the murphy med to be installed. It was beautiful and we are happy to be able to give it to her. DH took her for pizza and left me at her place with my blue puke cup. Clearly couldn't eat anything or drink.

Oy.. all night just miserable. Puked off and on and finally hit the recliner exhausted. I got 500 fluids and I probably should have gotten a liter. My own fault since I declined, the liter. My hands and feet are bothering me, neuropthathy and my stomach is sore. This reflux is hilacious. I am affraid the reglan and prilosec got puked up. Only get one a day sigh. I got some compazine to take tonight. Can't take it near the reglan. wish me luck. It's a sunny day and I am laying here soaking up the sun. feeling kind of tired. Geez this is some way to bring in the New Year.

Ya'll have to be doing better then me. SO I am wishing you peace and fun with your family and friends. Happy New Year!!

I'm sorry Rose. I would piggyback compazine, zofran every four hours when I had chemo.Does the cbd oil not help either? I know you are behind the eight ball. You are the strongest, bravest woman I know.

Bring on 2017 with love, peace, hope and a cure!

Zillz- I think it was the CBD oil that finally helped me get to sleep last night. Mint. I also took some ativan. I took oxy and ambien but I am pretty sure I puked it all up. So then what do you do?

A cure for this miserable disease would be mighty nice eh? Anyone hear of one in the works? Happy New Year!

What lovely pictures. We got a dusting of snow yesterday and everything is white and lovely. I am sitting in my recliner wiped out by a shower. So tired. I puked my guts up this morning and started the day with zofran and ativan. My tumor markers were sky high carboplatin isn't working either. I am tired and discouraged. I just want to go to sleep.
