Foam Breast Forms - Source?

Options

I have not had reconstruction and have done fine for over 9 years now, with just foam breast forms. I have been buying them from the TLC Direct catalog, but they are a little expensive there. In addition to the expense of them, sometimes I receive foam that is more dense than the previous forms. I have even received 2 forms marked the same size and they are not exactly the same size, and one seems to be made with denser foam than the other. I am a little irked at the price, since I am sure they have about $2 (or less) into making them, and I sometimes feel taken advantage of. So, I thought I would see if anyone here has a better place to purchase them. Thanks for any advice or recommendations. I am just buying the foam forms - not weighted - and each one is kind of formed to extend under my armpit a little. They call them unweighted asymmetrical forms. Thanks for any info!

my insurance covered some lovely breast forms. I called my insurance for a referral

Also I have heard lovely things about knitted forms

I had a mastectomy with reconstructionans till need something to fill my bras.

I will be going to pick.up my supplies from this amazing women who knows so much about breast forms and reconstruction. She was referred through my insurance. Post a link or picture of the ones you buy at tlc direct ans I will show it to her and ask her if she has a better recomendation.

Since you do the foam I am assuming that the weight is an issue for you?

Hi! In addition to Knitted Knockers, I also bought foam forms from Walgreen's online. They're light and comfortable. :)
