Second Opinion on MRI Results?

I previously had DCIS in my right breast and have a family history of BC (mother and three maternal aunts). I recently had an MRI that showed in the left breast a "29 mm segmental, heterogeneous non-mass enhancement, increased in prominence from the prior study." Determined to be Birads 3, probably benign, six-month follow-up required. Is a second opinion warranted regarding this wait and see? The medical studies I'm reading seem to call for it.

Did you try talking to your doc about why 6 month follow up was the recommendation and what they suspect it might be (in less clinical terms)? that might help you better understand if you'd like to get a second opinion or not.
