Afinitor/Aromasin

Is Aromasin the same thing as Exemestane. I was put on it with Afrintor and called

to get my refill and they said the doc cancelled my refill for Exemestane. He did

not tell me he was going to do that. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

I have only been on it for two months. And who do you get your med from?

I get my from BriovaRx and every time I have a tuff time getting my med refilled

They put you on hold for ever. I tried online ordering it and they say they did not

get my order or I have a problem with it.

    Aromasin is the same as Exemestane. I take it and there is no co-pay! I have Blue Cross of Massachusetts. Have you contacted your doctor? I just googled Afinitor and it works in conjunction with Aromasin.

    It is the same thing. I don't have any trouble getting it either. Is it the Afinitor that you are having trouble with? That one is what more people have trouble with. My insurance company required the script to go through a specialty pharmacy that is mail order. They will only fill 28 days at a time because of the cost. They don't know if I will have to stop taking it at some point so they don't want any waste. I was assigned a pharmacist at my local cancer center, that he made sure there was no issues on getting it. I would consult with my Dr if you are having trouble with either one. Best of luck to
