TYkerb rash Treatment ideas

I have been taking tykerb for 3+ years with minimal problems.  But now I have had a itchy rash for more than 2 weeks, all around torso  UGH.  First I thought it was dry skin, winter and all, but all the lotion in the world is doing nothing..    I also take breaks from tykerb about once every 3 months (ONc gives me OK) .  So I haven't taken the tykerb for about 10 days.  No improvement in rash .  Calling Onc today, but suggestions in the interim.   UGHHHHHHH!!!

Hopefully not skin mets  UGHHHHH again!!!

    We're sorry to hear you're dealing with this uncomfortable side effect! We're sure others will be by shortly with some great advice, but in the meantime, you may find some help on the main Breastcancer.org site's page on Rash, which lists some tips to manage this effect.
