TM's are squirrley. They can be right some times, wrong others. Get a scan. Otherwise you are borrowing worry as they say. And get cannabis dosing advice from an experienced practitioner. You want someone with at least a 100 patients who have cancer and preferably breast cancer. The cool thing is that there are people out there who have a lot of experience ...

Merry Xmas. Praying for your complete healing.

Oh Z, Merry Christmas to you too. And prayers for your complete healing as well. I'll let you know what I find out. I'm going to look at those links and check out those docs. I'm headed to Phoenix in the morning.

Goldie my oncologist doesn't even look at TMs so it was never a concern of mine. Though I would be interested to know where mine are at. Also an indica strain is higher in cbds than sativa strains.

Wendy, like I said, TM's have been pretty reliable for my situation. Maybe not so at this time? A girl can hope, right? They will call me to schedule scans before the end of the month. I guess that will really tell. In the mean time, I think I will try the 3:1 and onc wants me back on Xeloda. I see you you are a member of that gals FB page. If I have a question, would you mind posting for me? Like I said, I can't let my mom see it. I hope she doesn't see that I joined that group. If she did, I'll just tell her that a bunch of my online friend belong to it!

I'm going to look into the information that Z posted for me and watch that video. I'm interested in the Vit. C infusions, bio mat (maybe) and then the 3:1 CBD instead of the RSO. On the fence about the chemo pills, did them for almost 2 years.

Goldie - I am not on Xeloda but I follow women who are since that is likely the first line chemo option for me should hormonals fail. Many women do well on Xeloda, but some have to lower the dose. There has been new research that shows that lower dose Xeloda works fine, but some doctors don't seem to be aware of this. It's worth scanning the Xeloda channel for the skinny on Xeloda dosing.

That said, it seems like you have only done one hormonal treatment and there are 2-3 other options. Most people try to stay on hormonals as long as they can. You might ask your doctor why letrozol and palbociclib have not been considered for you.

Thanks Z, I have been on and posted in that forum. And I did the lower dosing too with the one week on one week off, instead of the 2 on, 1 off. Neither worked for me. I had gotten a horrible itchy rash that covered probably 75% of my body, along with the H/F syndrome. Fatigue that caused me to have to lay down 2-3 times a day. So it was nice to take a break from it. And oh so looking forward to doing all that again.....NOT!

Goldie no problem if you just type a letter under the posts yourenterested in you will be informed on all info on that particular post. I have no problem posting questions on your behalf just let me know. Dosing is always different from person to person and cancer type to cancer type. I take a high concentration of 3:1 three times a day. You will feel right away if it's the right stuff. It should feel a bit like a caffeine rush twenty minutes or so after taking it then you know you have the right stuff. It's pricey though I pay 200$ for a small vail. Be aware. Lots of garbage out there😊

    1-$200 vile a day?

I'm pretty sure that is not what you are doing, at least I hope not. The RSO I was getting was costing me around $30 a day, and I thought that was bad! So far over $4000 spent on it.

The dispensary I go to has the 3:1, I just don't know how much to take. With the RSO it was the size of a grain of rice, every so many hours, until you could build yourself up to do the whole syringe in a days time. Whether you did it 3 times a day, every so often, etc.

I've go so much going on, with all of this, the links you sent me (haven't even got to those) trying to put our home and business up for sale. Dealing with the depression, not sure whether or not I should start back up on Xeloda, crying all the time (I'm such a sappy emotional cry baby)! Waiting to get scans this month. And oh.............. it's CHRISTMAS!

With all that's going on, my BP is high, my heart rate is high. All of which usually run on the low side.

But thanks for everything, I really do appreciate it Wendy

Hahaha no Goldie my mistake, that vial lasts for about two weeks.

No worries I know exactly how you feel . A normal ness will return most days for me now are awesome and I go for a whole day without thinking about it. We sold our farm as well and my horses and all the rest of the animals. It was all very sad , but I always like to look forward and try and stay positive. I don't want to waste a minute.

Wendy3 I agree the RSO isn't good for Er+ cancer. Thank you. I have some phoenix tears. Is that bad too. Thank you for helping.

Goldie. I hope the crying hits the road. It comes and goes for me. The holidays can seem so sad. I am very interested in your up coming tests. Please let us know. We are pulling for you!

Goldie as we have no clinical trial on this it's a bit of a hit and miss thing. I'm not very scientific on my dosing. I wake up I take a CBD capsule then I make my veggie juice and take some liquid CBD tincture after that about another twenty grams.it goes like this through my day I then take another capsule (each are twenty grams) then a little bit of an edible for the THC content then some more liquid CBD tincture and so on. I am dosing all day in various forms. I find being a tiny bit high a wonderful thing. I am infusing my body with this stuff in the hope it slows my cancer or better yet kills it . For people who really like to be in control all the time my way is not suitable. I feel great and have zero pain so I will keep doing what I'm doing. Something is working for now so I will keep going. I would take the RSO before bed. Good luc

Wendy, I'm confused. I have some of the top CBD oil here in CO and it does NOT get you high. From what you wrote, it sounds like you are only taking CBD oil and (just one edible).. so for you to say you stay high all the time, how is that so? I repeat, CBD is not psychotropic at all

We don't have clinical trials but we do have experienced practitioners. I am going to repeat my previous post. It concerns me that people are guessing at dose when we do have guidelines.

If you want professional advice on a cancer fighting cannabis protocol from a group that has a very large pool of patients, consider Aunt Zelda's. Despite the goofy name, this group is doing the closest thing to cannabis clinical trials now available. They do consultations for $200 and they give you the right dosage and strains for your particular condition.

There are other practioners with large pools of patients. Anything but guessing, please. We're past that.

Thanks girls, and I will be calling Aunt Zelda's, but not sure I can do it before the new year and get in for the consultation. So for now, I guess I have to "guess".

Lisey, CBD does NOT have THC in it and you are right, it should not make you high. It's only the THC that gives the high feeling.

There was a doctor as my dispensary this summer, Sue Sisely. She is an actual doctor, but she is working with Vets that have PTSD, treating them with MMJ. The dispensary gave me her number, I'm going to call in just a bit. And just see if she has anything to say. Will let you know. I'm still waiting on a call to schedule for scans.

I am vaping a strain that is helping me get to sleep. It's working beautifully. Unfortunately, I just learned that THC is a no-no for the Estrogen+ ladies

So off I go in pursuit of CBDs. Luckily, I have a good lab connection.

I'm 8/8 estrogen positive and I consume a crap load of MJ products my tumour according to my oncologist today has shrunk again. I don't buy that estrogen positive cancer patients need to stay away from THC. I do believe we need a higher CBD count 3:1 4:1 ratio though. That's four ct scans of shrinking...

Wendy - I am so happy to hear the F@#kers are shrinking. The 3:1 or 4:1 CBD to THC ratio seems to be a common recommendation for ERPR+ cancer.

I've been following this thread and hope someone can help me. I have recently begun using about 10-15 mg nightly of THC edibles to make me sleep--and it's working. For the first time in over 20 years I've gotten full nights sleep instead of waking up at 3:30 a.m. as I used to and being awake for an hour or two. I had previously tried everything to make me sleep and my sleep hygiene is good, so I'm not looking for an alternative to THC. I am worried instead about the effect of THC on ER+ b.c.; research and claims I've read say "large amounts of THC" can actually make b.c. grow in ER+ women, and that we need to be "dosed carefully" and use a ratio of 1:1 CBD to THC.

    My questions, below:

    1) how much is a "large amount of THC"? I can't find any support for an actual amount that is dangerous, over time. Anyone?

    2) CBD oil apparently has a stimulant effect, and mixing it 1:1 with THC (which is what research offers is optimum for general er+ b.c. treatment) seems to me to be counterproductive if I need it for sleep. I tried a mix of CBD oil and valerian earlier this year before I got my MM card, and it didn't seem to have much affect on my sleep at all (didn't work; didn't make me wakeful--nothing)

    3) Any other help or advice? I'm feeling rather desperate--I've tried everything over the years for sleep and the amount of THC I'm taking at night to sleep works like magic. I don't want to give it up.

    Hi Claire,

So I have been doing edibles as well as oil as well as CBD tinctures for over a year. My last four scans showed shrinkage . Other than the pot I'm only getting Faslodex so something is working. I don't worry about the ER+ thing anymore. I'm doing well, also it's best if you take the THC and CBD separately give an hour or two in between. There is a great Facebook page called fighting breast cancer with canabis. Great resource on up to date info. Alis is the moderator great gal .good luck

Thanks Wendy3, I'll check it out. It's so confusing as you already know: one research link said PR+ wasn't affected by THC (I'm PR+ too) but that ER+ women would/could be affected. I wish they would actually state how much THC you'd have to ingest over a period of time to put ourselves at risk. I'm a damn good researcher and couldn't find that stat anywhere.
