It's very frightening but try to remember that more than 80% of breast lumps are benign. Birads4 is suspicious but not highly suspicious. The biopsy process isn't terribly painful. Try to surround yourself with those you love, doing things you enjoy. Stay away from google. The odds are in your favour. Wishing you the best. Donna.

I'm here with you. Don't know what size my lumps were a but I have my biopsy tomorrow. I went crazy all weekend. Had up and down moments, went on Google one too many times. Ultimately what I have to keep reminding myself is at this time I can do nothing more. We're already pursuing it and it's just a matter of waiting for an answer now. Hope you can find your own sense of peace. I'm making myself a power outfit for tomorrow because it's given me something else to focus on

thank you for your reply. I'm thinking about you today. Wishing you good news. Hopefully results come quickly.

My mass is 6mm and I have a biopsy on Tuesday. I've limited my "research" to this site. Google would send me over a cliff! I hope for the best for you.

I just came back from biopsy. It wasn't bad. I was terrified going in but doc was very nice. The worst part of the procedure was the instrument that collects the sample. I didn't feel it but it sounds like a staple gun which is unnerving, I'm hoping to hear before wednesday but they said 2-3 days. I was told at biopsy that she saw "fuzzy" stuff and prefers to see smooth but sh'e seen more fuzzy stuff that came back negative as well as less come back positive. I live in boston and had it done at brighman and womens so dana next door if needed. Hopefully I get a really awesome early xmas gift or I get ready for next step. I fell so much better that biopsy is over. Haven't cried once since....not saying it won't happen soon but i"m ok. Thanks for all the replies. It helps knowing you are all out there.

mass is .8cm but so scared because I learned this week size doesn't matter. I have back pain and seem winded but didn't notice it before. I know pain isn't n my head cuz I feel it but hoping it's stress and it hasn't apread.
Complete pathology isn't in yet. Just my gyn got the alert that it was positive
