You gals in AZ, I am up in the NE part of the state and get my RSO here. I was in the Phoenix area and went into a dispensary and the cost was more than double. $80 - $100. It's $40 up here. I don't think I would ever attempt to make my own.

what do you do if you live in a state where nothing is legal?

You can still get CBD oil, legally shipped to all states. Google 4Corners Cannabis and see that they will ship to all 50 states. CBD oil has no THC, so it's not illegal.

I got the Blue 1,000 MG of CBD oil. I'm in their neck of the woods and these are great guys who run a very clean farm. They really believe in their product and it's great tasting. I just do 15 drops daily and it doesn't affect my mind at all. Please note: This product is more expensive than the other option, Google "Charlotte's Web" which is also another local company. I lurked on boards for about 2 months before deciding which one to go with... absolutely no negative reviews for 4 Corners that I have found, but some say Charlotte's web is losing quality now that they are bigger and have a huge demand.

Thanks for the info, Goldie 827. I've tried Charlotte's Web CBD oil already--bought the mint chocolate-coconut oil kind---ick! It didn't help me sleep better, anyway, so when I get my MM card I can buy the THC brands.

From what I've read, it's to my understanding that we need the THC. Here is the dosage info for the RSO. Claire, where abouts are you? I go to a dispensary in Show Low. The RSO is also referred to as Phoenix Tears.

Unfortunately for me, I didn't start it until I was 2 years into stage IV diagnosis. Looks like you might still be stage II? I would jump on this, what can it hurt, but your pocket book. We saved all receipts, in hopes of getting some of it back in taxes, we'll see.

It really depends on if you are ER+ or not. You want a much higher CBD to THC if you are ER+, and you want a higher THC% if you are ER-. THC is estrogenic.

Fraidy, how much are you doing and for how long? My first 2 sets of labs (after starting RSO), TM's went down. The last ones, they went up quite a bit. I was done with the RSO and just on maintenance. Going today for labs, and I went back on the RSO about a month ago.

Actually, which I didn't realize. The dosing for stage IV, or after already having done chemo and radiation. A gram a day for 180 days. Scroll down to the bottom of the article....

    DOSAGE INSTRUCTIONS

It usually takes the average person about 90 days to ingest the full 60 gram or 60 ml oil treatment. I suggest that people start with three doses per day, about the size of a half a grain of short grained dry rice. The patient should take this dosage every 8 hours, early in the morning, then again in the afternoon and then they should take their final dose of the day, about an hour before bedtime.

DOSAGE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN DAMAGED BY CHEMOTHERAPY AND OR RADIATION ETC. The damage such treatments can cause have a lasting effect and people who have suffered the effects of such treatments are the hardest to cure. But even those who have suffered all this horrible damage to their bodies, still have a good chance to make a full recovery, if they follow my instructions. When those who have been damaged from these so-called treatments ask for my advice, I tell them to ingest 180 grams or 180 ml's of high quality oil, as quickly as they can and this will give them the best chance to survive. The extra 120 grams or 120 ml's that I advise them to ingest, is needed to undo all the damage that these horrible treatments have left behind in the patient's body. Once the patient has become accustomed to the oils use, they should not encounter any problems ingesting 180 grams or 180 ml's in 5 to 6 months and often they can even accomplish this much more quickly.

Sorry have to disagree this data is very outdated. To much THC for ER+ breast cancer can have the opposite effects that one wishes for. A ratio of 3:1 or even 4:1 CBD:THC is where it's at.

Hi Wendy, I have read that too. There just isn't enough information out there for us, it's hard to decide what to do. It's all a crap shoot. And what works for one, doesn't necessarily work for another.

I have been searching and searching for trial results ( they are doing studies in Italy and Spain) basically any info I can get. So I did find a Facebook page that is turning out to be very interesting "fighting breast cancer with cannibus" the girl running it is an angel her name is Alis her mother has stage four breast cancer. Tons of comparing and good info. Check it out.

I "asked" to join the FB page, otherwise you can't see anything. I just hope my mom can't see it, she does not know of my stage IV diagnosis.

Thanks Wendy, I did join. I guess I'll just be reading! I got my labs back yesterday. TM's have doubled. So now I'm on the fence as to what to do Stopping the RSO or taking less. Merry flipping Holidays to me. I won't put "Christmas" in that comment. I've decided to try and wait until after Christmas to share the news with my family. I feel if I tell now, I ruin the holidays for everyone. And that just isn't something I could live with.

I started taking RSO the year I was diagnosed in July 2015, I was basically stoned all the time and slept a lot. I did have progression during that time. So that high THC was not working for me. I have now three friends on line who live through out the USA that are using a 3:1 or 4:1 combo CBD:THC and this seems to be working for everyone. One had four stable scans so far I've had five and the other woman I know got rid of liver lung and brain mets with the stuff. There is a lot we don't know about this flower but we are learning..if the government won't help us we will do it ourselves🤓.

I only felt stoned when I first started, once I got to the full syringe a day, I was ok. Guess I'll try the 3-1 or 4-1. What do we have to lose, right? I wonder how long it would take to show any decrease.

Goldie - Rising tumor markers may mean the cancer is advancing, but in some cases it's a sign that the tumors are breaking apart and receding. Unfortunately we don't know much about how cannabis effects tumor markers but other drugs do cause tumor markers to rise when they are working. It can also just be normal variability in tumor markers. 2X is a significant jump, but I've heard doctors say to disregard TM changes unless you see 5X or 10X changes because smaller changes just reflect variability between blood samples. Ultimately it is very individual. Some women can track the progression of their cancer to tumor markers very precisely, but in my case they almost doubled as the tumors receded.

Forget about the tumor markers, tweak your CBD/THC protocol, enjoy the holidays and sign yourself up for a scan at some point in the new year.

If you want professional advice on a cancer fighting cannabis protocol from a group that has a very large pool of patients, consider Aunt Zelda's. Despite the goofy name, this group is doing the closest thing to cannabis clinical trials now available. They do consultations for $200 and they give you the right dosage and strains for your particular condition.

I've watched Mara Gordon, who founded Aunt Zelda's speak. She seems to do a 1:1 to 3:1 CBD to THC protocol for ERPR+ BC. The total cannabinoids per day ranges from ~300mg to 500mg. If you watch the video, the chart on breast cancer dosing is at minute 18. The two protocols at the bottom of the slide are low dose cannabinoids for people who are not treating their cancer, but rather the side effects of chemo.

In general, it seems like we are moving away from the RSO protocol, including dosing, CBD/THC ratio, length of time and the solvents used to extract the oil. RSO was a brave first cut at treating illness with cannabis, but we have better, more diagnosis specific, protocols.

I currently taking about 10mg of THC at night to get used to it while I work on getting a consultation with Aunt Zelda. I am on hormone suppression and a cell cycle inhibitor as well as a robust complementary protocol. Cannabis will never be the only thing I do.

Your complementary options extend far far beyond cannabis. If you are interested in complementary oncology some of the best complementary doctors in the country are in Arizona. Dr. Rubin of Pheonix is on my list of people to consult with after I get my next scan.

    Good luck.

Z - You have me in tears! I sure hope you are right. I am due for scans, been a year. Scans scare me too! TM's have always been pretty right for me, it's how we caught my mets. Onc wasn't concerned, until I said "but they keep rising, it's not much, but they keep rising". And lo and behold, bone mets. My RSO is 1 gr. or 1000 mg. I take one a day, though out the day. I'll look into the 3:1, they do have it at my dispensary. Do you do Sativa or Indica?

I have some CBD hemp oil, (no thc in it) 1000 mg. Boy is it nasty...just took some!
