EZ Stuffed Mushroom Canapes

stuffing mix ( you can use stove top brand)
Whole Mushrooms (hollowed out...removed strms and chop up and blend into stuffing)
Green seedless grapes
Gruyere cheese or Munster or swiss cheese slices cut in squares slightly larger than mushroom

Make stuffing and add diced mushroom stems
Fill mushroom cap and press a thumb into the middle
Stuff a green grape in each mushroom in the thumbprint
Top each with a square of cheese

Heat in a warm oven (350) only until cheese melts (less than 5 min)Serve warm.

These go great with wine.

    Wow, these sound perfect! I'm always looking for interesting vegetarian recipes that will make our son-in-law confirm me as mother-in-law of the year!

    Those sound great.

    Here is one for the day when some guests pop in without notice:

    One package of Jimmy Dean Sausage (not the pre made patties)
    Mushroom caps

    Fill mushroom cap with enough sausage to make a mound on the cap.
    Stick it in the broiler til cooked. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on all of them.

    Its also an Adkins friendly appetizer!!!!
