I stupidly have 2 accounts on here...my BG46TN one and a BeckyG one...I need to delete one LOL I accidentally signed in under the one I don't use..so now I have postings in 2 different names oops...Becky
My full name is Becky Guidi but I go by Becky Lee on facebook...let me know if you can't find me, since I"m a HS teacher sometimes I have myself hidden so students can't find me LOL
My profile pic is me with a beanie cap on and my daughter in a Chip (chip n dale) hat

I too would be interested in a private Facebook group - do we use Facebook messenger or something else. It would of been good last night/morning when I was awake from 3:45 a.m. on.
Javamama - good luck today. I am feeling so well and like myself again it is hard to go back into the fog of chemo.
By the way my name is Jennifer Miller on Facebook. We will initially need to put our aliases by our real names so we can remember who everyone is.
-
Hello ladies! Yes, I am one of those... I do not have a Facebook account, but I just love our group, so I am willing to try it again. And yes, a chat would have been wonderful last night, when I couldn't sleep since 2am on.
-
livin-on-a-prayer there are a lot of Jennifer Millers on FB LOL I tried looking you up! What is your profile picture?
Rachel, I sent you a friend request :-)

Hi Ladies-
Not sure who asked about the brow gel but the box says to start before chemo and continue for 4 weeks after. Hope this helps!
Day 6 post AC here and I'm still nauseous. I made the choice to not take the Zofran- the C is getting to me! I am eating as much fiber as I can and taking miralax and senokot. Tomorrow will be better
I am also up for a FB group- I am Kelly Main Swab on Facebook. My profile pic is me and my daughter.
I hope everyone is having a good day!
Kelly

BG46TN I have Jennifer Kaiser in parenthesis. There is a picture of my husband and I at my daughter's wedding in a navy blue dress. It is difficult having such a common name.
-
fromtritoa -Kelly - Have you tried prune juice? I used that later on instead of the scenekot, because it made so gassy and it seemed to work well and didn't taste so bad.
-
I had my hair buzzed off on November 13 (two days before my first chemotherapy). It finally started coming out (just before my second chemotherapy on November 29). I got most of the left over hairs out last night. Now I'm almost fully bald, and I'm ok with it (since I know this is part of the healing process). Oh my goodness. It's amazing how sensitive one's bald head can be. I'm still wearing my pretty and colorful scarves. I'll also get some cute and fun hates (as I won't be wearing any wigs).
-
I'm up for a Facebook group. Please let me know if you all decide to create one. Thx. (((hugs)))
-
fromtritotam, have you try ground flax seed mix with yogurt? I have been trying to take approximately 4 teaspoons of ground flax seed with 2 teaspoons of chia seed and mix with yogurt daily. It's high in fibre and I don't have constipation problem.
Just came home from 2nd infusuo, started feeling a bit dizzy at end of infusion. Resting in bed now...
Take care everyone.

I will create a private/secret FB group later when I get home from work...then I will post and anyone who wants to join can let me know. I will make everyone that joins an administrator so that we can all add members from here when we see someone interested.
Do we want a special name for our group? I"ll start it as "Nov Chemo" but then we can think of a better name :-) When my sister had bc 3 years ago, her group from here started a fb group called the "Chemo Sabes" LOL
Becky
-
Jennifer Miller and Kelly Swab I sent you friend requests.. FB won't let me create a group until I have people to add to it LOL so once someone accepts my friendship on fb, I can start the group.
amw5 what is your FB name?
Latinmixy, javamama, and Sorella what are your names on FB also?
And anyone else who has a FB account and would like to join a secret group....let me know your full name, either on this post or private message me.
Becky

Please put me in the FB group. Pamela Hill Hallissey
-
Please add me to the Facebook group... can't keep up with the forum ?

Michelle and Pamela I sent you friend requests...I can't figure out how to add people to that group that are not already my fb friend LOL
Here is the link to the group, right now it is "closed" I will switch it to "secret" once everyone joins...I think my problem with adding people was because it was "secret"
click the link, request to join :-)

Thanks, Becky. Ignore the PM I sent you with a direct link to my page. I just requested to join.
Chemo went well today. Chemo days are long days because of cold capping. I feel a little more tired than I did for my first. I can feel the steroids more as well. I got the neulasta on my arm. My belly isn't suitable for the appliance because of the DIEP reconstruction. My belly feels a little edgy as well.
I might be able to write more later. My head is still frozen and it's really hard to think.
-
Oh my Lord! I can not keep up with you Ladies. :-) a FB page sounds like a great idea!
Living-on-a-prayer - You're welcome! :-)
-
Becky!
I sent a request to join, i am Zue Vesov. I have no profile picture. working on it. LOL!
-
Becky,

I friended everyone and joined the group! Wahoo. I have the day off. Going to enjoy my sister and niece for the day before they head back to Michigan.
Have a great day, ladies!
-
Hi Becky.
I sent my request to join and my username is Applekfc Rogers without a profile picture.
Thanks for creating the group.
-
Please feel free to friend me. But be aware, I'm a total pinko commie liberal. So friend me and then unfollow me if me posting way too many political posts will drive you mad.
Dawn
-
coupon you've been added :-)
I try to check throughout the day, so if you request to join, it shouldn't be too long before I see it and add you guy :-)
Becky
-
Thanks for all of the C suggestions, ladies! I have the flax and will try prune juice.
Javamama- you just made me LOL
I hope everyone is having a good day and I will check the FB group later!

Anyone else who is using their veins have some pain in their arm/veins? My 2nd infusion was Friday and it felt a little sore but the nurse said it looked fine...today its still sore, not red or swollen or anything but when I press on my vein it hurts....is this common? should I call the dr?
-
Hi Becky,
I had my 2nd infusion yesterday through vein. Like last time, my right arm sore whole night and it fades away this morning. On top of that, I also experienced tingling on both legs and arms couple hours after infusion. I mentioned to my MO and he said this is not a huge concern.
-
My only reservation about a closed facebook group is that people can actually see who is in the group though they cannot see their posts. I am friends with many former students on facebook and am not eager for them to know about my cancer. I think I might have to make a new facebook page in order to be included with a spin on my real name
-
This is why I suggested it be secret. The FB group that is. I think currently it is closed so that we can all join. Then Becky is going to change the setting back to secret.
But please do what you feel most comfortable doing, Sorella.
-
I made a new facebook so I could join you all. I am Steffi Paul. I think I sent a request.
