Ah, she's not back yet...? I'll just bring Peppermint a chocolate coke, and milk-toast.... I KNOW that will make her better...! I'll make some 5 layer bean-dip too.
Come on little Patty... we're here waiting for you........

Hi All, been texting with Patty this evening.
She's still home: "Def gonna Call mo tomorrow. Still fever, nausea, lil vomiting and diahrea. Ugh. Very very achy."
I asked about going to the ER: "So far not. Seriously praying not. I hate going there..."
I asked if she wanted Chevy and Shepkitty to send some sexy male nurses to take care of her: "Oh yes. Please!!
Then I sent her some sexy pictures. "Def things are ummm looking up. Thanks p"
Nice to know Patty still has her sense of, ummm, humor!

This one is working on her charts
This one will be taking her vitals
Patty liked them both.
-
Oh My! I would always have high blood pressure and a racing pulse if my doctors looked like that!
-
I'm with you, feline, hoping Patty contacted MO on call.
Patty, thinking of you!!
-
hoping you're feeling better day by da
-
Mominator!!! You have the mischievous side too? Hahaha. Good ones. I would pretend to be sick too if I had doctors who looked like them. Yeah, I tried to convince the girl to go to ER, but did not succeed. I don't blame her though. I am glad you were able to cheer her up Monday morning can't come quick enough. I hope they can figure out how to make her feel better.
-
Patty hates going to the ER/hospital. It's so lonely and degrading.
Here's hoping that the MO has some help for her this morning.
Lover, hmmm, you think I might have a mischievous side? Mostly I was thinking, what would Chevyboy, Shepkitty, and Loverly do?
-
Can't blame her. Just shocked that that seems to be the only option available.
-
my best to Patty. I hope today is the day she gets real help.
I have a little tip on going to the ER- I found out accidentally. Right after my mbc dx 3 years ago my back completely froze up. I could not walk, lost bladder control, etc. It was about 7 at night. I had to go to the ER but there was no way I could get in a car. We called 911 and said we had a non- life threatening emergency and needed an ambulance. One arrived immediately. We are fortunate to live sort of on the edge of a suburb with a newer ER very near us. They took me there and then on to the hospital (where I spent 7 days trying to be able to walk again and starting rads)
Anyway, the tip is IF you can justify the ambulance call, you go right into getting help- no hours in the waiting room in agony. You sort of go to the head of the line. I think Patty's condition would justify that call. Besides, she should be isolated from sick patients anyway.
Prayers for Patty!

Thanks for the update Madelyn. Can you send those docs to Canada lol?

-
Geezzz Chevy you will give Patty a heart attack!!
-
THAT should make ANYone feel better Rosie.... Hah!
I just came in from the garage! Seems like I have to wait for DH to leave, before I DO anything that he keeps putting off! So I backed my car out, THEN tried to unscrew 500 SCREWS that he used to hold this 9X12 old rug down! They were all on one side... my drivers side, so therefore, the whole rug buckled, even though he put more screws in it!
FINALLY I took most of them damn screws out, rolled the rug up, pulled it out, and set it beside the shed. Swept the garage out, then pulled my car back in. Now let's see if he even notices when he gets back in an hour from the little tavern he goes to for 1 1/2 hours !!!!!!
When I ask him to help me do things like that, he gets all irritated, and says he WILL, when he can,.... which means not in a million years. So a girl has to do what a girl has to do. NOW I have to take a few things out from under my bed, run the dust mop, and (there is never any dust under there, but I think I should do it anyway).... And put the few boxes back.... I have to use all this energy....
I'm just glad he has a place to go meet his buddies and I can work my a$$ of when he is gone!
-
Loverly ~ Don't you know it is those sweet gals you have to watch out for? And Hey....you are the one who reposted my dead gigantor mouse! I was being senistive to Patty's upset tummy!
Mominator ~ I do like the way you think 😜
Chevy ~ Ooooh I have a man like that! He'll run out in the middle of a hurricane to help a neighbor, co-worker, random person....but forget about getting things done at home. Grrrrr Sometimes a girl has to break down and hire some extra help. I'll send my maid right over to you. He'll need to go help Patty when you are done with him though!
Look how careful he is not to scuff the floors 💗
-
Kaption ~ Great suggestion about the ambulance! Never thought about it before but it is true.....they hustle you right in without waiting.
Patty I hope you are getting the care you need. Hugs n' Prayers ✝
-
I keep trying to enlarge that photo! See? You guys thought it was all ME, and here Sheppers is up to her frisky posts! haaaaaaaaaah!
-
-
Kaption, I had to do the exact same thing because of my back, too. It was 3 am on a Monday morning. I couldn't even get out of bed the pain was so horrible...the paramedics had to strap me to a back brace.
-
Thinking of you Patty. XXX
-
Ah geez you guys! So sorry to hear about all your back trouble!
Mags... It's like the older they get the less incentive they have to ..... move! When he got back he asked... "Who came to help you move that out?" I calmly said "No-one! I did it myself! Took about 1/2 hour getting out all the screws! Maybe we can figure out how to get that rolled up carpet out of here some day!" I think he thought some good looking guy came by, and helped me do all this!!!
I don't know why I didn't think of that.....................
-
You girls are funny!
Hope you're having a better day Patty.
-
Noni, we gotta be funny.... Just want to keep a little smile on Peppermint's face... xoxo

Hello all. Patty just responded to today's text. I told her I was worried about her
"Hey no I am still home. Seen dr today. Got some fluids and such today. Feeling a lil better."
I told her we were all sending love and prayers.
"Thank you so very much"
That's all for now. At least Patty is still home and feeling a little better.
