Hi everyone. I was just diagnosed with breast cancer. Here is the link to my first post on the "waiting for results" board.

https://community.breastcancer.org/forum/62/topics...

I don't know yet the ER,PR, HEP-2, or ki67 status. I have a Grade 2 tumor/s and they are intraducular carcinoma, infiltrative.

I was told I am maybe a Stage lll (maybe 2). I will start chemo next week and I won't get my mastectomy until I am done with chemo because the tumor is so large and lymph nodes are involved. I will be getting a breast MRI next week to get a better look at the tumor/s and also a PET/CT scan next week to see if it has spread.

I will update you when I know more

    Welcome! Sorry you find yourself here. Read through the chemotherapy boards and you'll get some good advice. Jump into the December 2016 thread there and introduce yourself. It's a long road, but doable

    Hi!

    I remember you from your previous thread. I was in a similar situation, and did chemo for five months before my surgery. I hope that you have as good a response to chemo as I did. KBeee is right; it really helps to join a chemo group. Joining the December 2016 chemo group is a great idea. I still follow the stories of my July 2014 chemo buddies. Keep us posted! ((Hugs))

    I am so sorry you have to join us, but welcome. I almost wish I had chemo before surgery to see if it had any affect on the c. I will never know, since the excisional biopsy (lumpectomy) had clear margins and the tumor was taken out all the way before the positive dx was even made. You'll find lots of good support, info, and even friendships here. bc.org has been a livesaver for me...

    @claireinaz

    I wish they would take my boobs off now. I hate keeping the cancer in my body even though the surgeon explained the rationality to me.

    Yes, this site has already been helidul
