Now seeing more clusters of microcalcifications

Hi there,

First post here. Tomorrow I go in for a 2 site stereotactic biopsy on my left breast after a mammogram, followup US and DBTUST trial study was diagnosed as BIRAD 4b with 6-8 clusters of microcalcifications. I had a b9 diagnosis in 2011 after a lumpectomy in the same breast and am diagnosed with dense tissue and atypical ductal hyperplasia, so I am a bit worried now that five years later we are seeing more clusters. I'm 52 and going through menopause currently, plus I have lost 105 lbs in the past year, shrinking my breasts from a size C cup to a B cup! My mother had breast cancer in her left breast and she was diagnosed in her early 70s -- they were able to do a lumptecomy for her with no recurrence.

Has anyone had good results after more calcifications were found after a prior b9 report?
