Painful lump in armpit

today I have woken to a painful lump in my armpit. I had 11 nodes removed on that side (cancer side, nodes all clear). There's no redness to make me think it's an ingrown hair or anything. I was diagnosed stage 2a in October 2015. I have reconstruction in 2 weeks. Should I mention this to my surgeon? I'm very worried and I only saw her 2 days ago, she didn't do an exam though. Any advice? Thank you

Yes, Mention it. Lots of reasons for lump, but have her examine it to see if they want to do ultrasound, etc before surgery. Hoping it's some benign lump.
