Just diagnosed and looking for second opinion

I was just diagnosed with dcis, meeting with the Doctor tomorrow. I'm originally from near Rochester, MN and would like a second opinion from Mayo Clinic. Have any of you been there for breast cancer issues and have any suggestions

    I never sought a 2nd opinion when DXd but if I had felt I needed one, I would have gone to Mayo/Rochester. (I'm in western SoDak).

    A WAC 'sister' of mine went there for years for her BC.

    HI there, I got 3 opinions. Its definitely good to do and my Insurance and many others actually require it. You'll want to find someone you like, who is a good doctor  and is someone you get along with as you'll be seeing them for many years.

    I too got 3 opinions before treatment. I also made sure I met with a medical oncologist & a plastic surgeon prior to any treatment, in addition to a breast surgeon. Always better to get a review. Edited to say - i think Mayo is an excellent choice.
