    Thank you for this link. I go back and forth taking my Vitamin D supplements but I think I'll be a religious user from now on. It certainly can't hurt.

    The daily amount of IUs referenced on the link is really low; that seems to be the min daily requirement for everyone. Those of us at high risk should take a lot more than that. I take 5000 IUs daily in drops and my Vit D levels are checked each year by my MO; usually between 60 and 70, which is where I want them to be.

    My MO advised 2,000 IU daily with recheck every 6 months. I think because I live in Minnesota and we don't go out much in the winter they monitor vitamin D levels a little closer!
