hi all I am starting chemo this coming up week. I am triple positive, so I will have 12 weeks of taxol and Herceptin and then 9 additional months of just Herceptin, followed by a blocker for 5 years. I am starting to have some serious anxiety. I am just super scared. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated.

    hi, i too am triple + & had my first chemo session yesterday. Im feeling great so far, but they say 2-3 days after i might feel more fatigued than usual. The first day was a long one so bring snacks, a water bottle, a blanket & a book. I had herceptin, taxol, & carboplatin, plus a steriod, & Benadryl (to avoid allergic reactions) all in all in was like a 5 hour day, but i was assured thatthe others will be more like 2-3 hrs. my plan is to do 6 rounds of chemo - my in between weeks 2&3 will be herceptin only, with the first week being all three TCH, for a total of 18 weeks. i wish you lots of luck. stay positive & just know this is just a small roadblock, life will get better!!!!
