Radiation Therapy after a lumpectomy ?

Hi, I had a lumpectomy on the 5th October 2016, I will be staring Radiation on or just after the 15th November. I would love to hear of other ladies who will be also having this around my time, or ladies who have already had it for some advice.

One of my friends had her radiation therapy after her lumpectomy. Her normal tissues were affected and she had few side effects due to high energy x-rays. But it is normal to have side effects after breast cancer radiation. She underwent radiation therapy at New York.
