does bone mets feel like a muscle spasm?

Hi All,

I have been having what feels like muscle spasms in my lower side for over a week now. I have been taking medication for it. They have really put me out of commission. It only hurts when I am walking and not while I am lying down. I am wondering if bone mets would give these kinds of symptoms?

No it does not sound like bone mets. The pain is a constant build up in the bone.

It could be a bulging-disk or herniated-disk.

It's not impossible. I had muscle spasms and no bone pain when my L5 crashed. The muscles had been straining to hold the spine together.

It's most likely a disk problem or muscle strain, but any unexplained pain lasting longer than two weeks should be checked out.

Thanks. Did it always spasm or only when you were moving that area? Did it spasm at rest?
