initial biopsy report ok but final not available?

This week has been awful for me. Last thursday my mammo call back has indicated a suspicious pleomorphic calcification area that was rated 4B and requires a biopsy. I was so lucky that they manage to squeeze me in on Monday. I asked my PCP to inform me the result ASAP because we were about to start donor egg IVF cycle this month. My PCP called thur morning that the initial report is available and it looks ok and she will send me the final report when the final testing items are back, and that I can move forward with our plan.

I was so relieved at the time I didn't think to ask why there are additional testings pending and if they would come back "bad". Now I am worried since my online patient system still doesn't show that the final report is available. Anyone can shed some light on what they may be waiting for while the PCP feels comfortable that the initial report is ok?

My PCP is out today and I thought to ask this community. I have googled a lot of the post since my mammo callback and has gotten so much information from the posts during the awful wait.
