Anyone with pain lying down several months after radiation?

I finished 20 treatments of radiation the first week of March. About 5 weeks ago my breast became very warm and swollen. A few nights later when I layed down in bed I was in excruciating pain. Went to see my oncologist and my surgeon, a CT scan was done and didn't reveal anything except fluid buildup which was drained. Went back this week and had more fluid drained. Still having terrible pain when trying to turn from side to side in bed. Has anyone else had similar complications

(((Hugs))) I had radiation, but didn't experience this. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry you are in pain and I hope that you feel better soon!

could it possibly be lymphedema... I had a problem with that, breast & arm, during radiation. I mentioned it to my oncologist, surgeon & radiation oncologist & none of them had a clue. Finally I saw my surgeons PA & she recognized it right away. I went to a specialized massage therapist for treatment - that cleared it up. Hope you're doing better!

I am also experiencing this .I have permanent implants of which I had at time of radiation. I finished radiation one month ago and the last week to 2 weeks have had a burning pain on side of the breast that was radiated. I can't even touch the skin. I've tried ice and heat with no results . Skin looks normal and doesn't appear to be swollen. I've tried stretching, and lotion also. Told plastic surgeon and he said it was because they radiated my chest wall and it's recovering. I hope he's right but if it's not better by mid week I'm going to get an appointment with radiologist oncologist and or physical therapist . Any more info you might have on this or if you still have this I'd love to hear from you hon. I pray your still not going through this .
