Has anyone tried this procedure for vaginal atrophy? I have been doing pelvic floor therapy for a while, and gyn thinks I might be a good candidate for this/

    Hi momand2kids,

Yes, I've had 3 treatments 6 weeks apart. We are seeing great progress. The tissue is much healthier & not having the vaginal or bladder irritation that was present everyday. My PH hasn't improved much though so am working with oncology/naturopath to get topical gel that may help in the healing. I'm very optimistic, given the past 5 years of misery & pain (& virtually no sex).

My gynecologist offered it to breast cancer patients for 1/2 price. ☺️

What is Mona Lisa? I have vaginal atrophy and vaginal irritation. I use Replens which helps the irritation but would love to do something about the atrophy if possible. It is excruciating to try and have intercourse.

Trinigirl50, you can read about it at monalisatouch.com. It is a laser-type treatment to the vagina & surrounding tissues

My Gynecologist had a lower rate for breast cancer patients. Many of his current patients had breast cancer. It can cost in the $500-$800 per treatment range. There are usually 3 treatments six weeks apart & once yearly after
