Very sad news.
Dear Stage IV ladies ... I am so sorry to let you know that Glenna 'gatorgal' has died. I know she will be terribly missed. Glenna was so beautiful ... through and through and I will really miss her. She was so kind and lovely and had such a great smile. I was fortunate that I got to spend the weekend with her a couple of years ago. I will treasure those memories.
I have her home address if anyone would like to send a card. I'll see if I can get the link to her Facebook page and post it.
love
Bren

Bren, I posted a message for youon the liver mets board, but I want to be sure that you know that I appreciate the fact that you let us know about Glenna's passing. She posted frequently, and I enjoyed reading her messages of support and advice as well as snippets of her family life. Her words lifted my spirit many times. She was a special person who lived her life fully in spite of her diagnosis. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

Sad news about a wonderful woman!
Her last post was October 19 and she went on hospice the day before.
Though Glenna's dying seems quick, I hope it was easeful and peaceful.
Bren, sending loving kindness for you during your time of loss...and also for all who loved her too.
warm wishes, Stephanie

Such sad news, Glenna was so kind and supportive to all of us here at BCO. I will miss reading her posts. Sincere condolences to her family.

Glenna was always one of the first to greet a new member and offer encouragement to others, while trying to put the best possible spin on her own condition. It takes exceptional courage and kindness to accomplish this, and Glenna's friends on this forum and elsewhere are a testament to her spirit.
I am terribly sorry to hear this sad news, and cannot find the words to express how terrible her loss is, as is those of others who have passed from this disease. Glenna will be deeply missed, and my heart goes out too her family, friends, and all who loved her.
Bren-2007, I am glad you were able to meet Glenna and spend enjoyable time with her. May her memory be a blessing.

she was so kind to me when I joined BCO. Such a lovely woman who will be missed

Oh no! I have followed her this last year. I was looking so forward to getting to know her! Cancer chased her all these years yet she stayed the course and lived her life. She won. Stupid cancer. It is so unfair! I will miss her and remember her example.

She had a beautiful smile, indeed. What a great story on her grandson growing his hair for her! My condolences to her family and to you, Bren. Hugs.

Very sad. I remember her fondly!

This news has been extremely hard to process for me! Glenna was an awesome friend! We played Words with Friends for years and chatted on that constantly. I went elk hunting October 3rd, came back last Sunday night, and she had "resigned" the games we were playing (I think her family may have done this, as the date was after she passed.). No explanation, just resigned the games. Then I come here and find that she is gone. Oh, what shock. Never said a word. She was an awesome friend! I miss her, and will miss her so very much!!!

I can't believe gatorgal is gone. I pray she is in peace and happiness.

Such sad news. She will be terribly missed. My condolences to her friends and family.
