Multi-centric, different types, but all too small to grade

I was going over my pathology reports and realized that I have other types of cancer other than the ILC and LCIS (and atypical lobular hyperplasia) I originally thought I had. My thought was that the other entries were just descriptions of my LCI and LCIS. But after researching, it seems that I have various types:

LCI, LCIS, FLCIS (classic and pleomorphic w/central necrosis and calcifications), Invasive Mammary Carcinoma w/ lobular features, and Microinvasive Mammary Carcinoma, and ALH (atypical lobular hyperplasia).

Has anyone else had a multi-centric diagnosis like that and had a good prognosis? All of it was too small to grade, so maybe that's a good thing?

My surgery is in December. I'm scheduled for a mastectomy only on my left breast, but now I'm wondering if I should go ahead and do bilateral with all of that in my left, and hyperplasia on my right (a lumpectomy is scheduled for that side).

    I assume that this is a biopsy pathology. Floric LCIS is a type of LCIC and I am not a doctor but it seems that you have LCIS with microinvasion. As long as they don't find any more invasive cancer your prognosis should be very good. Bilateral mastectomy is a personal decision in your case since you are not mentioning BRCA or strong family history. A lot of women go with bilateral mastectomy for symmetry or they find yearly mammograms and biopsies stressful. You should discuss your concerns with your surgeon and plastic surgeon if you are having reconstrusction.

    Yes, it's pathology from 4 biopsies on the left breast and 1 on the right. Thank you for your input. I try to stay positive, but when I was reading about pleomorphic and necrosis being associated with more aggressive cancer, I started getting worried. Then I read that invasive mammary carcinoma means it's mixed ductal and lobular, and then I started feeling, "Well, what *don't* I have?" and started worrying again.
